Welcome

We have been in Belmont for over 90 years and are eager to keep growing with the Belmont community. We treasure our heritage as a faith community in a textile town, but we are preparing to meet the challenges which arise as Belmont changes into a more residential community. We seek to share the good news with everyone, regardless of age or background, and we offer a variety of ministries to help those of all ages to be better followers of Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

The mission of First United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by welcoming all God’s children into the Body of Christ and teaching them to love, serve and nurture others.
